Overview
VibeFox Purolator adds a Purolator carrier to PrestaShop. Customers see one Purolator price at the shipping step of checkout: a live rate from the Purolator E-Ship Estimating web service for their address, or your fixed price per country and cart weight.
It suits Canadian shops that ship within Canada, to the USA and abroad with a Purolator account. The module calculates shipping rates at checkout. It does not create Purolator shipments, print labels, book pickups, handle returns or track parcels.
Key features
Live Purolator rates: Quick Estimate prices with the rates of your billing account for addresses in Canada, the USA and other countries.
Service per destination: choose the service for Canada (Ground, Express, 9AM, 10:30AM, 12PM, Evening), for the USA and for international shipments, or "Cheapest available". The service of a live rate is shown on the order page in the back office.
CAD and Canadian taxes: Purolator prices in CAD are converted with your rate. Optionally use prices without GST/HST/PST/QST when the carrier tax rule adds tax itself.
Fixed prices as the fallback: a price per country with weight columns (XS to XL), a default row for all other countries and a fallback price, per order or per item. Used without API keys and when Purolator gives no rate.
Fast checkout: rates are cached for 1 hour and failed requests for 10 minutes. API errors never reach the customer. No PHP SOAP extension needed.
Shipping rules: minimum and maximum cart weight, minimum order amount, free shipping from an order amount, carrier tax rule. Wrong numbers are reported when you save.
Standard PrestaShop carrier: the carrier is created on install. Zones, customer groups and size limits are managed in Shipping > Carriers, or use Ignore shipping zones with a list of countries.
Debug log in the back office: view and clear the log on the module page. API keys, the billing account and customer postal codes are not logged.
Requirements
PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 8.0 or later. Live rates need Purolator E-Ship Web Services keys and a Purolator billing account. Fixed prices work without them. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
