VibeFox Instabee for PrestaShop

Overview

VibeFox Instabee adds an Instabee / Budbee parcel box carrier to PrestaShop. Customers see it at the shipping step of checkout with your own fixed price for their country and cart weight, and can choose a parcel box near their postal code.

It suits shops that deliver to Budbee Box parcel lockers in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands and Belgium. Instabee and Budbee do not publish a rate API, so prices come from your price table. The module does not book shipments, print labels, give tracking numbers or offer Budbee Home delivery slots.

Key features

Prices by country and weight: a price per destination country with optional weight tiers (XS up to 1 kg, S up to 2 kg, M up to 3 kg, L up to 5 kg, XL above 5 kg), a * row for all other countries and a fallback cost. Per order or per item.

Parcel box selection: with Budbee API credentials the customer sees the boxes near the postal code of the delivery address, sorted by distance, and can search another postal code.

Checked on the server: the box is required and is checked against the Budbee list at the delivery step and again when the order is created.

Box on the order: the chosen box is shown on the back office order page, on the order confirmation and order history pages and in the order e-mails.

Fast and safe checkout: box lists are cached (12 hours per postal code, 5 minutes after a failed request). If the Budbee API cannot be reached, the order can still be placed and is flagged so you can choose the box later.

Shipping rules: minimum and maximum cart weight, minimum order amount, free shipping from an order amount, carrier tax rule. Decimal comma or point in all price fields.

Standard PrestaShop carrier: the carrier is created on install in the zones of the five box countries. Zones and customer groups are managed in Shipping > Carriers, or Ignore shipping zones offers it for a list of countries.

Debug log in the back office: view and clear the log on the module page. API keys and customer data are never logged.

Requirements

PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 8.0 or later. Fixed prices work without an API account. Parcel box selection needs Budbee API credentials from Instabee (issued to merchants with a delivery agreement). A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
