Overview
VibeFox GLS ParcelShop adds a GLS ParcelShop carrier to PrestaShop. When the customer selects it in the delivery step of checkout, a Select GLS ParcelShop button opens the official public GLS ParcelShop map. The chosen ParcelShop is required to continue and is saved with the order.
It suits shops that ship to GLS ParcelShops in 21 European countries. No GLS account or API key is needed for the module. Prices come from your own table by country and weight, because GLS has no public rate API. The module does not create GLS shipments, print labels or track parcels.
Key features
Official GLS map: the customer picks a ParcelShop on the GLS map under the carrier in the delivery step, in the Classic and Hummingbird themes. The choice is saved to the cart, so it stays after the delivery step refreshes or the page reloads.
ParcelShop is required: the customer cannot continue without a ParcelShop. A ParcelShop from another country than the delivery address is refused. Both checks run on the server.
21 countries: offered only for the countries covered by the GLS map: AT, BE, BG, CZ, DE, DK, ES, FI, FR, GR, HR, HU, IT, LU, NL, PL, PT, RO, RS, SI, SK.
Price table by weight: a price per country and weight tier (XS up to 1 kg, S 1-2 kg, M 2-3 kg, L 3-5 kg, XL over 5 kg), a * Default row for all other countries and a fallback cost. Per order or per item.
Shipping rules: free shipping from a cart subtotal, minimum cart subtotal, minimum and maximum weight in kg (converted from your shop unit), carrier tax rule.
ParcelShop in the order: shown on the admin order page with the ParcelShop ID, on the order confirmation page, in the customer's order details and in the order confirmation and new order e-mails.
Standard PrestaShop carrier: the carrier is created on install for the zones of the GLS map countries. Zones and customer groups are managed in Shipping > Carriers, or you turn on Ignore shipping zones.
Debug log in the back office: view and clear the log on the module page. No customer personal data is logged.
Requirements
PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 8.0 or later. No GLS account or API key is needed for the map. You need a GLS contract to ship the parcels. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
