VibeFox EasyPost for PrestaShop

Overview

VibeFox EasyPost adds a carrier with live EasyPost shipping rates to PrestaShop. For the customer's address and cart, the module asks EasyPost for rates of all carrier accounts connected to your EasyPost account (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, Canada Post and others) and shows the cheapest one as a single carrier option at checkout.

It suits shops that already use EasyPost or want one price from several carriers without setting up each carrier separately. The module calculates shipping rates at checkout. It does not buy labels, track parcels, validate addresses or offer pickup and drop-off locations, and it shows one option, not a list of all services.

Key features

Cheapest rate of your carriers: all carriers of your EasyPost account are compared, and the cheapest rate is shown. You can limit the choice to some carriers or services, for example USPS or UPS:Ground.

Carrier and service on the order page: the back office order page shows the EasyPost carrier and service, the estimated delivery days, the price source and the calculated price, so you know which label to buy.

Fallback prices: fixed prices per country and one price for all other countries are used when there is no live rate, for example when EasyPost does not answer or no carrier serves the address.

Correct units and currency: weights and dimensions are converted from your shop units to ounces and inches. EasyPost rates in USD are converted to your default currency with your exchange rate and shown in the customer's cart currency.

One parcel or one per item: the cart is packed into one box, or every unit is rated as its own parcel. Products without dimensions are rated by weight.

Fast checkout: rates are cached for 1 hour. After a timeout or a rejected key, requests pause for 5 minutes, so the checkout never waits for EasyPost on every refresh.

Shipping rules: free shipping from a subtotal, minimum subtotal, minimum and maximum cart weight, carrier tax rule, and an option to offer the carrier by country instead of by zone.

Standard PrestaShop carrier and debug log: the carrier is created on install and managed in Shipping > Carriers. The debug log is shown and cleared on the module page, without the API key or customer addresses.

Requirements

PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 8.0 or later with the cURL extension. Live rates need an EasyPost account with an API key and connected carrier accounts. Fallback prices work without a key. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
