VibeFox Viva Wallet for PrestaShop

Overview

VibeFox Viva Wallet Gateway adds Viva Wallet (Viva.com) Smart Checkout to PrestaShop. At the payment step the customer chooses Viva Wallet, is sent to the secure Viva payment page, pays by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or a local payment method enabled in your Viva account, and comes back to your shop. Card data never touches your site. The order is created only after Viva confirms the payment, so abandoned payments leave no unpaid orders.

It suits shops with a Viva merchant account that want a hosted payment page instead of a card form on their own site. The module takes one-time payments only. It has no pre-authorization and capture, installments, saved cards, subscriptions, card fields on your own page or POS terminals, and refunds made in the Viva dashboard are not imported.

Key features

Smart Checkout: a Viva payment order is created for the cart total in the cart currency, with the correct minor units of the currency.

Paid only when Viva confirms: Viva webhooks are not signed, so the module re-reads every transaction from the Viva API. It must belong to this cart's payment order, be finalized and match the cart total and currency.

Webhooks and returns: the order is created by the Viva webhook or when the customer returns to the shop. The webhook URL verification of Viva is answered automatically with your Merchant ID and API Key.

No double processing: repeated or parallel webhooks and returns never create a second order or record the payment twice. A late payment never reopens a cancelled or refunded order.

Amount and currency check: a mismatch puts the order in Viva Wallet payment on hold for review with a note.

Demo and live accounts: separate credentials for each. Payments already started are verified and refunded in the account they were made in, even after you switch Test Mode.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in the Viva Wallet payment block of the order, up to the amount Viva charged, in the account and currency of the payment. A full refund sets the order to Refunded.

Viva block on the order page: the transaction, payment attempts, refund history and notes. Order status of your choice after payment, log without keys or customer data.

Requirements

PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 8.0 or later. A Viva merchant account with Smart Checkout credentials (Client ID and Client Secret) and a payment source (Source Code). Cart currency EUR, GBP, PLN, RON, BGN, CZK, HUF, DKK, SEK, NOK or CHF. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
