VibeFox TrustPay for PrestaShop

Overview

VibeFox TrustPay Gateway adds card payments through finby (formerly TrustPay) to PrestaShop. At the payment step the customer chooses the card payment, is sent to the secure finby payment page with 3-D Secure, pays by card and comes back to your shop. Card data never touches your site. The order is created only after finby confirms the payment with a signed notification, so abandoned payments leave no unpaid orders.

It suits shops that want to accept cards with a finby project without building a card form on their own site. It takes card payments only. It has no bank transfers or other finby payment methods, no Apple Pay or Google Pay buttons on your site, no saved cards, no subscriptions, no separate authorize and capture and no status polling.

Key features

finby payment page: a card payment request is created for the cart total in the cart currency (EUR, CZK, HUF, GBP, PLN, NOK, SEK, DKK, BGN, RON, CHF or USD). The page opens in the shop language when finby supports it, otherwise in English.

Paid only when finby confirms: the order is created by a signed server-to-server notification from finby. The return of the customer never marks a payment as paid.

Amount and currency check: the paid amount and currency are compared with the payment request and the cart. A mismatch puts the order in TrustPay payment on hold with a note.

No double processing: repeated notifications never create a second order or record the payment twice. A second payment for a paid order is only noted.

Test and live projects: separate Project ID and Secret key for the test (playground) and the live project. A test payment never confirms a live one, and refunds always go to the project the order was paid through.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in the TrustPay / finby payment block, up to the amount the customer actually paid. A full refund sets the order to Refunded.

Order status of your choice: Payment accepted or Delivered after a successful payment, set in one step.

Payment block on the order page: payment request, project, status, amounts, refund history and notes. Log without keys or customer data.

Requirements

PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 8.0 or later. A finby (TrustPay) project with its Project ID and Secret key, and a test (playground) project for test payments. The notification URL of your shop must be reachable from the internet. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
