VibeFox Tap for PrestaShop

Overview

VibeFox Tap Payments adds Tap Payments to PrestaShop: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, mada, KNET, Benefit, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The customer pays on the secure Tap payment page or in the Tap checkout popup on a payment page of your shop. Card data never touches your server. The order is created only after Tap confirms the payment, so abandoned or declined payments leave no unpaid orders.

It suits shops in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and other Tap markets that want to accept local and international payment methods with a Tap account. The module takes one-time payments. It has no saved cards, subscriptions or card fields embedded in your checkout page, and no partial capture.

Key features

Two checkout types: the Tap payment page (redirect, recommended) or the Tap checkout popup on a payment page of the module, with the Tap payment page as a fallback.

Paid only when Tap confirms: the module reads the payment from the Tap API, checks that it belongs to the cart and compares the amount and currency with the cart before the order is created.

Signed webhook, nothing to configure: the webhook URL is sent with every payment. Notifications without a valid signature are rejected.

Correct amounts: KWD, BHD, OMR and JOD are sent with 3 decimals, SAR, AED, QAR, EUR, USD and the other currencies with 2.

Charge or authorize only: authorized orders get the status Tap payment authorized. Capture them with Capture Tap payment or release the funds with Void Tap authorization on the order page.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in the Tap payment block, up to the amount Tap charged, always with the key of the mode (test or live) the payment was made in.

Safe status handling: repeated webhooks and returns never create a second order. Amount mismatches go to Tap payment on hold, and duplicate or late payments are noted on the order.

Tap block on the order page: the Tap IDs, payment attempts, refund history and payment notes. Tap page in English or Arabic. Optional debug log without keys or customer data.

Requirements

PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 8.0 or later. A Tap account with test and live API keys (the secret key; the publishable key only for the popup). Shop currency AED, BHD, EGP, EUR, GBP, JOD, KWD, OMR, QAR, SAR or USD. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
