VibeFox PayU for PrestaShop

Overview

VibeFox PayU Payment adds payments through the PayU payment page (Poland and Europe) to PrestaShop. The customer is sent to the PayU page, pays with one of the methods of your point of sale (BLIK, pay-by-link bank transfers, cards and others) and comes back to your shop. Card and bank data never touch your site. The order is created only after PayU confirms the payment, so abandoned payments leave no unpaid orders.

It suits Polish and European shops with a PayU account that want all PayU methods behind one payment option. The module has no payment method selection or card form in your shop, no saved cards or one-click payments, no subscriptions, no PayU installment widgets and only one point of sale per environment.

Key features

PayU payment page: one payment option for the cart total in the cart currency. 13 currencies: PLN, EUR, CZK, HUF, RON, BGN, GBP, USD, CHF, DKK, NOK, SEK, UAH.

Paid only when PayU confirms: the order is created after a notification signed with the Second Key of the payment's environment, or after a server-side status check when the customer returns. The notification URL is sent with every payment, nothing to set up in PayU.

Amount and currency check: a payment that does not match the cart puts the order in PayU payment on hold with a note, not paid.

Safe repeat payments: each attempt gets its own PayU order and closes the previous unfinished one, so an old payment link cannot be paid twice.

Payments waiting for confirmation: for points of sale without automatic receiving, payments are received automatically or with the Receive PayU payment and Cancel PayU payment buttons on the order page.

Separate Live and Sandbox keys: sandbox by default. Status checks and refunds always use the environment of the payment.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in the PayU payment block, in the amount and currency PayU charged. PayU's final refund status arrives as a note.

PayU block on the order page: PayU order ID, status, refund history and notes. Optional log without keys or customer data.

Requirements

PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 8.0 or later. A PayU account with a point of sale (POS ID, Second Key, OAuth client ID and secret) and a PayU sandbox account for testing. A shop currency supported by PayU. The shop must be reachable from the internet for notifications. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
