VibeFox Paytrail for PrestaShop

Overview

VibeFox Paytrail Gateway adds payments through the Paytrail payment page to PrestaShop. At the payment step the customer chooses Paytrail, is sent to the Paytrail page, pays with one of the methods enabled for your Paytrail account (Finnish online banks, cards, MobilePay, Apple Pay and Google Pay, invoice and instalment methods) and comes back to your shop. Card and bank data never touch your site. The order is created only after Paytrail confirms the payment, so abandoned payments leave no unpaid orders.

It suits Finnish shops that sell in euros and want all their Paytrail methods behind one payment method. The method is chosen on the Paytrail page, not in your checkout. The module accepts EUR only. It has no saved cards, no subscriptions, no shop-in-shop, no manual invoice activation and no settlement reports, and refunds made in the Paytrail Merchant Panel are not synchronized back to PrestaShop.

Key features

Paytrail payment page: one payment method for all your Paytrail methods. The page language follows the cart language (Finnish, Swedish or English).

Order rows sent to Paytrail: products after cart rules, shipping and gift wrapping, with VAT to one decimal (for example 25.5 %). The rows always add up to the payment amount.

Paid only when Paytrail confirms: the customer's return and the server-to-server callback are accepted only with a valid signature and only for a payment attempt of that cart. A paid amount that differs from the cart total puts the order in Paytrail payment on hold.

Nothing to set up in Paytrail: the callback URL is sent with every payment.

No double processing: repeated callbacks and returns never create a second order. A second paid attempt for the same cart is reported as a duplicate to refund.

Delayed payments: invoice and other pending payments create the order in Awaiting Paytrail payment until Paytrail confirms them.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in the Paytrail payment block of the order, up to the amount Paytrail actually took. When a payment method does not support direct refunds, an e-mail refund is started automatically.

Test mode: Paytrail's public test account, no keys needed. Older payments keep the credentials of their own mode. Optional log without personal data or keys.

Requirements

PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 8.0 or later. A Paytrail merchant account (merchant ID and secret key) and EUR as the cart currency. The shop should be reachable from the internet for callbacks. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
