VibeFox Niubiz for PrestaShop

Overview

VibeFox Niubiz Payment adds card payments in Peru through the official Niubiz payment form (Botón de pago web) to PrestaShop. At the payment step the customer chooses Niubiz and goes to a payment page of your shop, where the Niubiz form opens. The customer enters the card in the Niubiz form, and your shop authorizes the payment on the server. Card data never touches your site. The order is created only after Niubiz answers, so abandoned or declined payments leave no unpaid orders.

It suits shops in Peru that sell in Peruvian soles (PEN) or US dollars (USD) and have a Niubiz merchant affiliation. The module takes one-time card payments only. It has no refunds or cancellations from PrestaShop, no saved cards, subscriptions or installments (cuotas), and no PagoEfectivo, Yape or QR payments.

Key features

Niubiz payment form: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club, whatever your Niubiz affiliation accepts. The form shows your shop name or your own logo.

Paid only when Niubiz approves: the order is set to Payment accepted only when Niubiz approves the authorization and the answer matches the cart: purchase number, amount and currency. A mismatch puts the order in Niubiz payment on hold with a note.

Safe with lost answers: a timeout or an unreadable answer from Niubiz creates the order in Niubiz payment on hold with the purchase number to check, and the customer is told not to pay again.

Declined cards: no order is created. The customer sees the reason from Niubiz on the payment page and can retry at once with another card. Every attempt gets a new purchase number.

No double processing: repeated or parallel form submissions never authorize twice and never create a second order. If the cart changes after the form was opened, the card is not charged.

Sandbox and production: separate credentials for each environment. Sandbox mode switches both the API endpoints and the credentials, and a running payment always stays in the environment it was started in.

Niubiz block on the order page: purchase number, environment, transaction ID, authorization code, masked card and the Niubiz notes of the order. Optional log without credentials, tokens, card or customer data.

Requirements

PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 8.0 or later. Cart currency PEN or USD. Niubiz sandbox and production credentials (merchant ID, API user, API password). No webhook is needed. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
