VibeFox Montonio for PrestaShop

Overview

VibeFox Montonio Payment adds Montonio bank payments (payment initiation) to PrestaShop. At the payment step the customer chooses the bank payment, is sent to the Montonio payment page, picks a bank of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland or Poland, pays from the bank account and comes back to your shop. Bank login and payment happen on the Montonio and bank pages, not on your site. The order is created only after Montonio confirms the payment, so abandoned payments leave no unpaid orders.

It suits shops in the Baltics, Finland and Poland that sell in EUR or PLN and want direct bank payments with a Montonio account. The module takes bank payments only. It has no card payments, BLIK, Apple Pay or Google Pay, Pay Later or financing, Montonio shipping, subscriptions, saved payment methods or bank selection on your own site.

Key features

Montonio payment page: a payment is created for the cart total in EUR or PLN. Banks of the customer's billing country are shown first, and the page opens in the shop language when Montonio supports it.

Paid only when Montonio confirms: the order is created only for a signed Montonio confirmation. Confirmations come by a server notification and with the customer's return, so a lost notification does not lose paid orders.

Amount and currency check: the amount and currency reported by Montonio are compared with the cart. A mismatch puts the order in Montonio payment on hold with a note.

No setup in Montonio: the notification address is sent with every payment, so there is no webhook to create in the Montonio Partner System.

No double processing: repeated notifications never create a second order. Before a new payment attempt, the module checks whether the previous one is already paid, so the customer does not pay twice.

Sandbox and live modes: separate key pairs for each environment. Every payment keeps its environment: confirmations and refunds use its keys, and a sandbox payment never completes an order in live mode.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in the Montonio payment block of the order, limited to the amount Montonio charged. A full refund sets the order to Refunded. Montonio's confirmation or rejection of a refund is added to the notes.

Montonio block on the order page: the Montonio order UUID, environment, bank, amounts, refund history and the module's notes. Log without keys, tokens or customer data.

Requirements

PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 8.0 or later. Cart currency EUR or PLN. A Montonio account with the access key and secret key of your store (sandbox and live). A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
