VibeFox Moneris for PrestaShop

Overview

VibeFox Moneris Gateway adds credit card payments through the Moneris Gateway (eSELECTplus direct API, Canada) to PrestaShop. The customer enters the card on the payment step of your checkout, your server sends it to Moneris and gets the result at once, without a redirect. You can charge immediately or only reserve the funds and capture them later.

It suits Canadian shops with a Moneris account (and legacy Moneris USA accounts) that want a card form on their own checkout. Because card data passes through your server, you need HTTPS and PCI DSS SAQ D compliance. The module has no saved cards or Moneris Vault, no subscriptions, no Apple Pay, Google Pay or Interac Online, no Moneris Checkout or Hosted Tokenization, no 3-D Secure, AVS or Kount and no multi-currency pricing.

Key features

Card form on your checkout: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and JCB, as enabled on your Moneris account.

Purchase or Pre-Authorization: charge at once, or reserve the funds and capture them with Capture payment on the order page or by setting the order to a paid status.

Capture and void: a failed capture refuses the paid status, so the order is never marked paid without money. Cancelling a pre-authorized order releases the reserved funds.

Paid only when Moneris approves: the order is created from an approved Moneris answer. If the processed amount differs from the cart total, the order goes to Moneris payment on hold for review.

Safe on timeouts: if Moneris does not answer, the module asks Moneris with a Status Check. If the result is still unknown, the order goes on hold with the Moneris order ID, and the customer is not charged again.

Test and live credentials: separate Store ID and API Token for each mode. Captures, voids and refunds always go to the environment and account the payment was made in.

Moneris block on the order page: capture and void buttons, full and partial refunds up to the amount Moneris charged, refund history and notes.

Masked log: errors are always logged, requests only with Debug log on; card data and API token are masked.

Requirements

PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 8.0 or later with the SimpleXML extension. A Moneris Gateway account with a Store ID and API Token, shop currency CAD (or USD for a Moneris USA account), HTTPS and PCI DSS SAQ D compliance for live payments. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
