Overview
VibeFox Iugu Gateway adds Iugu payments to PrestaShop for shops in Brazil. At the payment step the customer chooses Iugu, the module creates an Iugu invoice for the cart total and sends the customer to the Iugu invoice page, where the invoice is paid by credit card, boleto bancário or PIX. Card data never touches your site. The order is created only when Iugu reports the payment, or when the customer comes back with a boleto or PIX issued.
It suits Brazilian shops that sell in Brazilian Real (BRL) with an Iugu account. The module takes one-time payments only. It has no on-site card form, saved cards, subscriptions or recurring billing, payment booklets (carnê), split payments or installment settings in PrestaShop.
Key features
Iugu invoice page: an invoice is created for the cart total in BRL. The customer pays with any method enabled in your Iugu account: credit card, boleto or PIX.
Paid only when Iugu confirms: the notification and the customer's return only tell the shop which invoice to check. The invoice is always read back from the Iugu API, and its status, amount and currency are compared with the cart. A mismatch puts the order in Iugu payment on hold.
Nothing to set up in Iugu: every invoice carries the notification URL of your shop.
No double processing: each invoice status is applied once, so repeated notifications and returns never create a second order or record the payment twice. A new payment attempt reuses the open invoice or cancels it in Iugu first, and a duplicate payment is flagged for refund.
Boleto and PIX friendly: a customer who comes back with a boleto or PIX code gets an order in Awaiting Iugu payment, which moves to Payment accepted when Iugu reports the money.
Test and live tokens: separate API tokens for each mode. Status checks and refunds always use the token of the mode the invoice was created in.
Refunds from the order page: credit card full or partial, PIX full only, in the Iugu payment block of the order. Refunds made in the Iugu dashboard set the order to Refunded.
Iugu block on the order page: the invoice with a link to Iugu, the payment method, the amounts paid and refunded, the refund history and the module's notes. Optional log without tokens or customer data.
