VibeFox iPay88 for PrestaShop

Overview

VibeFox iPay88 Payment adds iPay88 payments to PrestaShop for iPay88 Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand. At the payment step the customer chooses iPay88, is sent to the iPay88 payment page of your region and pays there by card, FPX online banking, e-wallet or another method your iPay88 account offers. The order is created only after iPay88 reports the result, so abandoned payments leave no unpaid orders.

It suits shops in South-East Asia that have an iPay88 merchant account and want the customer to pay on the iPay88 page. The module takes one-time payments only. It has no refunds from PrestaShop (refund in the iPay88 merchant portal), no saved cards, no subscriptions, no pre-authorisation and capture, no card fields on your site and no automatic status re-query.

Key features

Four iPay88 regions: choose Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia or Thailand. The cart is charged in its own currency, and the payment method is hidden when that currency cannot be charged in your region. IDR is sent without decimals.

Paid only when iPay88 confirms: the order is marked paid only after a response signed with your Merchant Key whose amount and currency match the cart. A mismatch creates the order in iPay88 payment on hold with a note.

Both iPay88 answers: the customer's return and the server-to-server backend notification are handled the same way. The backend notification is acknowledged only after it was processed, otherwise iPay88 sends it again.

SHA256 or SHA1 signatures: SHA256 by the current iPay88 specification, SHA1 as a legacy option. Responses are accepted in both formats.

No double processing: repeated or simultaneous answers never create a second order or record the payment twice. A payment for a cancelled order or a second payment for a paid order adds a note and never re-opens the order.

Pending and failed payments: a pending payment (for example an ATM or virtual account transfer) creates the order in Awaiting iPay88 payment until iPay88 confirms it. After a failed payment no order is created, and the customer sees the reason and can pay again.

Test mode and reference prefix: a fixed small test amount instead of the cart total, and an optional reference prefix for several shops on one iPay88 account.

iPay88 block on the order page: RefNo, TransId, status, requested and received amount, PaymentId, AuthCode and error. Optional log without personal data or signatures.

Requirements

PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 8.0 or later. An iPay88 merchant account with a Merchant Code and Merchant Key, and your website address registered with iPay88 as the request URL. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
