VibeFox GMO for PrestaShop

Overview

VibeFox GMO Payment Gateway adds credit card payments through GMO Payment Gateway (GMO-PG) to PrestaShop. At the payment step the customer chooses the card payment, is sent to the GMO-PG hosted payment page (Link Type Plus), pays by card with 3-D Secure 2.0 handled by GMO-PG and comes back to your shop. Card data never touches your site. The order is created only after GMO-PG confirms the payment, so abandoned payments leave no unpaid orders.

It suits Japanese shops that sell in yen and have a GMO-PG merchant contract with Link Type Plus. The module takes credit card payments in Japanese Yen only. It has no other GMO-PG payment methods (convenience store, Pay-easy, PayPay, carrier billing), no multi-currency, no saved cards or member registration, no subscriptions and no on-site card form.

Key features

GMO-PG Link Type Plus: a payment page is created for the cart total in whole yen. The cards accepted are the ones in your GMO-PG contract.

Paid only when GMO-PG confirms: both the result notification and the customer's return are checked with a server-side request to GMO-PG. The order is created only when the transaction exists, and an amount that differs from the cart puts the order on hold.

Signed return: the result sent back with the customer is checked with SHA-256 and the Shop password of the payment's environment. Forged or foreign results are ignored.

No double processing: repeated or simultaneous notifications never create a second order or record the payment twice. A new payment attempt cancels the previous unpaid payment link, and a second payment of the same cart is flagged with a note.

Capture now or authorize only: charge the card at once, or only authorize it and capture later with Capture payment (GMO-PG) on the order page.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in whole yen in the GMO Payment Gateway block of the order, always in the environment the payment was made in.

Test and production: separate credentials for the GMO-PG test and production environments. A test notification never confirms a production payment.

GMO-PG block on the order page: the GMO OrderID, the transaction, paid and refunded amounts, refund history and the module's notes. Optional log with passwords and customer data masked.

Requirements

PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 8.0 or later. A GMO Payment Gateway merchant contract with Link Type Plus (Shop ID, Shop password, Config ID) and the result notification turned on. Japanese Yen (JPY) as the cart currency. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
