VibeFox Eupago for PrestaShop

Overview

VibeFox Eupago Gateway adds Eupago payments for Portugal to PrestaShop. You choose one payment method for the checkout: Multibanco, MB WAY or credit card. With Multibanco the customer gets an entity and a reference to pay at an ATM or in home banking. With MB WAY the customer approves a request in the MB WAY app. With credit card the customer pays on the Eupago card page and comes back to your shop.

It suits shops that sell in euros and have an Eupago account. The module offers one Eupago method per installation and takes one-time payments only. It has no refunds from PrestaShop (refund in the Eupago backoffice), no saved cards, subscriptions or pre-authorisation, no other Eupago methods such as PayShop, Cofidis Pay or Bizum, no SMS reminders, no Multibanco expiry date and no status polling.

Key features

Multibanco, MB WAY or card: the Multibanco reference is shown on the order confirmation page and added to the order confirmation e-mail. The MB WAY phone number is asked at checkout, and Portuguese numbers can be entered without +351.

Paid only when Eupago confirms: an order is marked paid only by a verified Eupago notification: a signed Webhook 2.0 or the legacy callback authenticated by your API key. For card payments the order is created only after Eupago confirms the payment.

Strict checks: the amount (to the cent) and the currency must match the order, the payment reference must be one created for that cart, and the notification must come from the same environment (sandbox or live). Anything else puts the order in Eupago payment on hold with a note.

No double processing: repeated notifications are applied once, so there are no duplicate orders, notes or status e-mails. A late payment for a cancelled order is put on hold for review instead of being lost.

Sandbox and live: separate API keys and webhook keys for each mode. Switching the mode switches keys and Eupago host.

Order status of your choice: Payment accepted or Delivered after payment, with one status change.

Eupago block on the order page: the payment attempts with method, reference or masked phone, Eupago transaction ID and status, and the module's notes. Optional log without keys, e-mails or full phone numbers.

Requirements

PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 8.0 or later. An Eupago account with the API key of your channel and a Webhook 2.0 key (sandbox and live are separate accounts). Cart currency EUR. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
