VibeFox ePayco for PrestaShop

Overview

VibeFox ePayco Payment adds payments through the ePayco checkout to PrestaShop. At the payment step the customer chooses ePayco, and the ePayco checkout opens as a popup over your shop or as a redirect to the ePayco payment page. There the customer pays with the methods enabled on your ePayco account: cards, PSE bank transfers, cash networks or wallets. The order is created only after ePayco confirms the transaction, so abandoned payments leave no unpaid orders.

It suits shops in Colombia that sell in Colombian pesos (COP) or US dollars (USD) and have an ePayco account. The module takes one-time payments only. It has no refunds from the shop, no saved cards, subscriptions or split payments, and does not poll ePayco for pending transactions.

Key features

ePayco Checkout: a checkout session is created for the cart total in the cart currency, with taxes, the billing name, address, e-mail and phone. Popup or redirect, in Spanish or English following the shop language.

Paid only when ePayco confirms: the order is created after a signed ePayco confirmation or after a server-side check of the transaction when the customer returns to the shop. Confirmations without a valid signature are rejected.

Pending payments: PSE transfers and cash payments wait in Awaiting ePayco payment and become paid when ePayco approves them.

Amount and currency check: the amount and currency approved by ePayco are compared with the cart. A mismatch puts the order in ePayco payment on hold with a note.

No double processing: repeated confirmations and returns never create a second order or record the payment twice. A second approved payment for a paid order is flagged for review.

Test mode: checkout sessions are created as test transactions. A test transaction never pays an order placed in live mode.

ePayco block on the order page: the ePayco reference, state, payment method, approval code and the ePayco notes of the order. Reversals reported by ePayco set the order to Refunded.

Log: errors are always logged, everything else when logging is on. No keys or customer data.

Requirements

PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 8.0 or later. Cart currency COP or USD. An ePayco account with its four keys (P_CUST_ID_CLIENTE, P_KEY, PUBLIC_KEY, PRIVATE_KEY). A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
