VibeFox dLocal for PrestaShop

Overview

VibeFox dLocal Payment connects PrestaShop to dLocal Go, the self-service product of dLocal. At the payment step the customer chooses dLocal Go, is sent to the dLocal Go payment page, pays with a local method of their country (cards, bank transfers, cash vouchers or wallets) and comes back to your shop. Card data never touches your site. The order is created only after dLocal Go confirms the payment, so abandoned payments leave no unpaid orders.

It suits shops selling to Latin America, Africa and Asia that have a dLocal Go account. The module takes one-time payments only. It has no card form on your site, saved cards, subscriptions or separate authorize and capture, and it does not work with the enterprise dLocal Payments API (X-Login / X-Trans-Key credentials).

Key features

dLocal Go payment page: a payment is created for the cart total in the cart currency and the customer's country. Amounts follow the decimals of the currency, for example whole amounts for CLP and JPY.

Paid only when dLocal Go confirms: payment notifications are checked by their signature, and the status, amount and currency are always read again from the dLocal Go API. The status is also checked when the customer returns.

Amount and currency check: a payment that does not match the cart puts the order in dLocal payment on hold for review instead of marking it paid.

No double processing: repeated notifications and returns never create a second order or record the payment twice.

Sandbox and production: separate credentials for each environment. Notifications and refunds of a payment always use the credentials of its own environment.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in the dLocal Go payment block of the order, in the amount and currency dLocal Go charged. A full refund sets the order to Refunded.

Customer-friendly retries: a customer who leaves the dLocal Go page without paying sees a message at checkout and can try again or choose another method.

dLocal Go block on the order page: the payment ID, environment, status, paid and refunded amounts, refund history and notes. Optional auto-complete of paid orders and a log without credentials.

Requirements

PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 8.0 or later. A dLocal Go account with an API key and API secret. A shop reachable from the internet, with HTTPS in production. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
