VibeFox Comgate for PrestaShop

Overview

VibeFox Comgate Gateway adds payments through Comgate to PrestaShop. At the payment step the customer chooses Comgate, is sent to the Comgate payment page and pays by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, a bank button or a bank transfer, whatever is enabled for your shop in Comgate. Then the customer comes back to your shop. Card data never touches your site. The order is created only after Comgate confirms the payment, so abandoned payments leave no unpaid orders.

It suits Czech and other European shops that sell in CZK, EUR, PLN, HUF, USD, GBP, RON, HRK, NOK or SEK with a Comgate account. The module takes one-time payments only. It has no recurring payments, subscriptions or saved cards, no embedded Comgate checkout or Apple Pay and Google Pay buttons on your site, and it does not capture or cancel pre-authorizations from PrestaShop.

Key features

Comgate payment page: the payment is created in the background for the cart total in the cart currency, and the customer is redirected to Comgate. You choose all methods, cards only or bank transfers only, and the page language.

Paid only when Comgate confirms: neither the background notification nor the customer return is trusted on its own. The module re-reads the payment from the Comgate status API and accepts only a transaction it created for this cart.

Amount and currency check: the paid amount and currency must match the cart. A mismatch puts the order in Comgate payment on hold with a note.

No double processing: repeated or simultaneous notifications and returns create one order only. A replayed confirmation never reopens a refunded order.

Safe repeated attempts: when the customer pays again, the previous attempt is checked first and cancelled at Comgate if it is still open. A second payment for a paid order adds a note to refund the duplicate.

Late payments: a payment confirmed after a pre-authorized order was cancelled reopens the order as paid, with a note.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in the Comgate payment block of the order, always sent in the mode (test or live) of the original payment. A full refund sets the order to Refunded.

Comgate block on the order page: the transaction, its status, refund history and the module's notes. Optional log without the secret or personal data.

Requirements

PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 8.0 or later. A Comgate account with a Merchant ID and secret, and the notification URL set in the Comgate client portal. A shop reachable over HTTPS from the internet. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
