VibeFox Barion for PrestaShop

Overview

VibeFox Barion Gateway adds payments through Barion, the Hungarian payment provider, to PrestaShop. At the payment step the customer chooses Barion, is sent to the secure Barion payment page (Barion Smart Gateway) and pays by card, Barion Wallet, Apple Pay or Google Pay, whatever your Barion shop offers. Card data never touches your site. The order is created only after Barion confirms the payment, so abandoned payments leave no unpaid orders.

It suits shops in Hungary and the region that sell in HUF, EUR, USD or CZK and have a Barion shop. The module takes immediate payments only. It has no reservation or delayed capture payments, no subscriptions or recurring payments, no saved cards and no Barion Pixel.

Key features

Barion payment page: a Barion payment is started for the cart total in the cart currency, with the products, shipping, gift wrapping and tax listed. HUF amounts are sent without decimals.

Paid only when Barion confirms: Barion callbacks are not signed, so the module never trusts the callback or the customer's return by itself. The payment state is always read from Barion with your POSKey before an order is created or changed.

Amount and currency check: the amount and currency reported by Barion are compared with the cart. A mismatch puts the order in Barion payment on hold with a note.

No double processing: repeated callbacks and the customer's return, even at the same moment, create one order and record the payment once. A second successful payment for a paid order is flagged with a note.

Safe retries: every started payment is remembered. A late payment of an earlier attempt still creates the order, and an expired earlier attempt does not cancel it.

Test and live modes: separate POSKey and wallet e-mail for each mode. Callbacks and refunds always use the mode the payment was made in.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in the Barion payment block of the order. A full refund sets the order to Refunded.

Order status of your choice: Payment accepted or Delivered after a successful payment. Payments still processing at Barion wait in Awaiting Barion payment. Optional log without the POSKey.

Requirements

PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 8.0 or later. A Barion shop with its POSKey and the e-mail address of your Barion wallet. Cart currency HUF, EUR, USD or CZK. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
