Overview

VibeFox Adyen Gateway adds payments through Adyen Payment Links to PrestaShop. At the payment step the customer chooses Adyen, is sent to the Adyen-hosted payment page, pays with any method enabled in your Adyen merchant account (cards, wallets and local payment methods) and comes back to your shop. Card data never touches your site. The order is created only after Adyen confirms the payment with a signed webhook, so abandoned payments leave no unpaid orders.

It suits shops that have an Adyen merchant account and want the payment methods of that account without building a payment form on their own site. The module has no subscriptions or recurring payments, no saved cards, no on-site card fields (Drop-in or Components) and no capture or cancel buttons in PrestaShop. Capture follows your Adyen account settings.

Key features

Adyen Payment Links: a payment link is created for the cart total in the cart currency, with the minor units Adyen expects for each currency (0-decimal such as JPY, KRW, IDR; 3-decimal such as KWD, BHD).

Paid only when Adyen confirms: the order is created only by an HMAC-signed AUTHORISATION webhook. Returning to the shop never creates or pays an order.

Amount and currency check: the amount and currency confirmed by Adyen are compared with the cart. A mismatch puts the order in Adyen payment on hold with a note.

No double processing: repeated or parallel webhook deliveries never create a second order or record the payment twice. A new payment attempt expires the previous payment link, and a second successful payment for a paid order adds a warning note.

Test and live modes: separate API keys and HMAC keys for each environment. Refunds always go to the environment and merchant account of the payment.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in the Adyen payment block of the order, in the amount and currency Adyen charged. Adyen confirms the result by webhook. A full refund sets the order to Refunded.

Order status of your choice: Payment accepted, Delivered or Adyen payment on hold for manual review after a successful payment.

Adyen block on the order page: PSP reference, payment link, merchant account, amounts and refund history. Log without API keys or shopper personal data.

Requirements

PrestaShop 8.0 to 9.x, PHP 8.0 or later. An Adyen merchant account with API keys, a Standard webhook with an HMAC key and, for live payments, the live URL prefix. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
