Overview
VibeFox UPS adds a UPS shipping method to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. At the delivery method step of checkout the customer sees one UPS option with the cheapest UPS service for the cart, calculated live by the UPS Rating API, or your fixed price when UPS gives no rate.
It suits stores that ship with UPS and want real UPS prices, including negotiated account rates, at checkout. The extension calculates shipping rates only. It does not create UPS shipments, print labels, book pickups, track parcels or offer UPS Access Point selection.
Key features
Live UPS rates over OAuth 2.0: uses the current UPS REST API with a Client ID and Client Secret from the UPS Developer Portal. No old Access Key, user name or password is needed.
Negotiated or published rates: with your UPS account number the extension uses your negotiated prices, otherwise the public list prices.
One clear option: the customer sees the cheapest UPS service for the cart. The service name is saved with the order and shown on the admin order page.
Units and currency handled: weights and box sizes are converted from your store units. Rates in your UPS account currency are converted with your exchange rate, or ignored if no rate is set.
Fixed prices as a fallback: prices per country with weight columns (XS to XL), per order or per item, and a fallback cost. They also work without UPS credentials.
Fast and safe checkout: tokens and rates are cached, failed requests are not repeated on every refresh, and UPS errors never reach the customer.
Shipping rules: free shipping from an amount, minimum subtotal, weight limits, default product weight, geo zone or a country list, tax class.
Clear settings page: sections for the API, ship-from address, fixed prices and conditions, one Save button, JSON import and export, a button to clear the UPS cache, and a debug log viewer.
Requirements
OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later with the cURL extension. One download has the packages for both versions. Live rates need an app in the UPS Developer Portal (Client ID and Client Secret). Fixed prices work without one. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
