VibeFox Servientrega for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox Servientrega adds a Servientrega shipping method to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. Customers in Colombia see a live Servientrega rate for their municipality and parcel at the delivery method step of checkout. Other destinations, and any case without a live rate, use your fixed prices per country and weight.

It suits stores that ship within Colombia with a Servientrega corporate (credit) account, and stores that want a simple fixed-price Servientrega method without an account. The extension calculates shipping rates at checkout. It does not create guides (guías) or labels, request pickups, track parcels, quote cash on delivery or let customers choose a Servientrega office.

Key features

Live rates for Colombia: quotes from the Servientrega Cotizador Corporativo API with your SISCLINET user, password and billing code. The login token is kept until it expires and renewed automatically.

DANE municipality codes: about 1,130 Colombian municipalities are built in. The destination is found from the department (the OpenCart region) and city of the address, or from a DANE code typed as the postcode or city.

Servientrega products: Mercancía Premier, Mercancía Industrial or Documento unitario. The billed weight is the larger of the real and the volumetric weight, with the Premier minimum of 3 kg.

Any store currency: Servientrega quotes in COP. With a conversion rate, quotes and the declared value are converted for stores that sell in another currency. The price is shown in the customer's currency.

Fixed prices per country and weight: a price per country with optional XS–XL weight columns, a default row for all other countries and a fallback cost, per order or per item.

Fast checkout: quotes are cached for 1 hour and failed requests for 10 minutes. API errors never reach the customer.

Shipping rules: minimum and maximum cart weight, minimum order amount, free shipping from an order amount, tax class, a geo zone or a list of countries.

Clear settings page: sections for the API account, origin, fixed prices and conditions, one Save button without page reload, JSON import and export, and a debug log viewable on the page, without credentials or addresses.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. Live rates need a Servientrega corporate account with access to the Cotizador Corporativo, and the server must reach web.servientrega.com on ports 8058 and 8081. Fixed prices work without an account. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
