VibeFox Sameday Easybox for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox Sameday Easybox adds the shipping method "Sameday easybox" to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. When the customer selects it at the delivery method step of checkout, two lists appear under the method: the city and the easybox locker of that city. The locker is required to continue and is saved with the order.

It suits stores in Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria with a Sameday business account. The locker list comes from your Sameday account, and the price from the Sameday estimate or your own table. The extension does not create AWBs, print labels, track parcels, handle cash on delivery or offer home courier delivery.

Key features

easybox locker selection: city and locker lists under the method at the delivery method step. The city of the delivery address is pre-selected when it has lockers, and the choice is saved for the checkout right away.

Locker list on your server: loaded from your Sameday account when you save the settings and refreshed daily, or by a cron URL. The checkout never waits for Sameday. A failed refresh keeps the previous list.

Checked on the server: a forged or removed locker ID is refused when the customer clicks Continue. The name and address saved with the order come from the list.

Locker everywhere you need it: name and address in the shipping method of the order (order pages, order e-mails, invoice), and a panel with the locker ID for the AWB on the admin order page.

Sameday estimate or your prices: the price from Sameday for your pickup point and the easybox service, converted to your store currency, or a table per country and weight (XS to XL) with a fallback cost.

Shipping rules: geo zone or a list of countries, free shipping from a cart subtotal, minimum cart subtotal, minimum and maximum weight, per-order or per-item table prices, tax class.

Safe checkout: estimates are cached for 1 hour, errors for 10 minutes, and after a timeout no estimate is asked for 5 minutes. The settings page shows the connection status and configuration problems.

Clear settings page: sections for the account, prices, availability and lockers, one Save button without page reload, one click to add the counties the Sameday estimate needs, JSON import and export, and the Sameday demo API.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. A Sameday business account with an API username and password (Romania, Hungary or Bulgaria). A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
