VibeFox Packeta for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox Packeta adds the shipping method "Packeta pickup point" to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. When the customer selects it at the delivery method step of checkout, a Choose pickup point button opens the official Packeta widget with a map and search of Packeta pickup points and Z-BOXes. The chosen point is required to continue checkout and is saved with the order.

It suits stores that deliver to Packeta (Zásilkovna) pickup points in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. Packeta has no public rate API, so prices come from your own table. The extension does not create Packeta shipments, print labels, track parcels or offer home delivery.

Key features

Official Packeta widget: map and search of pickup points and Z-BOXes at the delivery method step. The cart weight is passed to the widget, so it lists only points that accept the parcel.

Required pickup point: the delivery method step cannot be completed without a point, and a point in another country than the delivery address is refused. The choice is kept when the page reloads.

Point in the order: the point name and address are added to the shipping method of the order, so they appear in the order history, the order e-mails and the invoice. The admin order page shows the point with its ID.

Point types and language: offer pickup points and Z-BOXes, pickup points only or Z-BOXes only. The widget follows the page language or a fixed language.

API key check: the key is checked with Packeta when you save it. A pasted API password is reduced to the API key and is never stored or sent to the browser.

Your own prices: a price per country with weight columns (XS to XL), a default row for other countries, a fallback cost, per order or per item.

Shipping rules: free shipping from a cart subtotal, minimum cart subtotal, minimum and maximum weight, tax class, geo zone or a list of countries.

Clear settings page: the result of the API key check and configuration warnings at the top, one Save button without page reload, JSON import and export, and a debug log you can view and clear.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. A Packeta client account with an API key. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
