VibeFox LP Express for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox LP Express adds delivery to LP Express parcel terminals in Lithuania to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4 as a shipping method. At the delivery method step of checkout the customer chooses a city and then a parcel terminal. The customer cannot continue without a valid terminal, and the chosen terminal is saved in the order.

It suits Lithuanian stores that send parcels to LP Express terminals and know their own (contract) prices. LP Express has no public price API, so you enter the prices in a table by country and cart weight. The extension does not request LP Express or Unisend prices, create shipments, print labels, call a courier or track parcels, and it does not offer courier (door-to-door) delivery.

Key features

Terminal selector: City, then Terminal, under the LP Express option in the delivery method step of the OpenCart checkout (on OpenCart 4 in the window Shipping method options). The city of the delivery address is pre-selected.

Safe terminal choice: the terminal is checked on the server, so a forged or outdated terminal ID is refused. The terminal name saved in the order is taken from the list, not from the browser.

Terminal in the order: shown in its own panel on the admin order page (with the terminal ID) and added to the shipping method of the order, so it appears on the customer's order pages, in the order e-mails and on the invoice.

Two terminal sources: the open LP Express terminal list, downloaded once a day with the last good copy kept, and your own list, one terminal per line. If no terminal is available at all, the method is hidden and the extension page tells you why.

Your own prices: a table per country with weight columns XS up to 1 kg to XL above 5 kg, a base price, an "any other country" row and a fallback cost. Per order or per item. Decimals as 2.99 or 2,99.

Shipping rules: free shipping from a cart total, minimum cart total, minimum and maximum weight (default 30 kg), geo zone or a list of countries, tax class.

Clear settings page: sections for prices, availability and parcel terminals, a status line with the number of terminals available, one Save button without page reload, and JSON import and export.

Debug log in the admin: view and clear the log on the extension page. No customer data is logged.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), with the default theme, PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. No LP Express API account is needed. You enter your own prices. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
