Overview
VibeFox J&T Express adds a J&T Express courier shipping method to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4 for stores in Southeast Asia. Customers choose J&T Express at the delivery method step of checkout and pay a live J&T Express Malaysia quote for Malaysian addresses, or a price from your own table by country and weight.
It suits stores that ship within Malaysia with J&T Express, and stores in the Philippines, Indonesia and other J&T countries that want fixed prices by weight. The extension calculates shipping costs at checkout. It does not create consignment notes or labels, book pickups, cancel or track shipments, and it does not let customers choose a pickup point.
Key features
Live Malaysian quotes: for Malaysian delivery addresses the price for the cart weight is requested from J&T Express Malaysia, from your sender postcode to the customer's postcode (standard service EZ, one parcel).
Currency conversion: J&T quotes are in Malaysian ringgit (MYR). If your store default currency is another one, the quote is converted with your rate. Without a rate, live quotes are not used and a warning is shown on the extension page.
Price table by country and weight: a base price per country, a * row for any other country, and optional prices for five weight tiers (up to 1, 2, 3, 5 kg and above 5 kg).
Fallback cost: used when neither J&T nor the table gives a price. Leave it empty to hide the method instead.
Fast checkout: quotes are cached for 1 hour and failed requests for 10 minutes. The request timeout is 10 seconds. API errors never reach the customer.
Shipping rules: geo zone or a list of countries, free shipping from a cart subtotal, minimum subtotal, minimum and maximum cart weight, per-order or per-item table prices, tax class.
Clear settings page: sections for the J&T API, the price table and the conditions, one Save button without page reload, and JSON import and export of the settings.
Debug log in the admin: view and clear the log on the extension page. No keys, passwords or customer postcodes are written.
Requirements
OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. Live quotes need J&T Express Malaysia API access: a J&T VIP account with an API account and private key. The price table and fallback cost work without one. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
