VibeFox GLS ParcelShop for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox GLS ParcelShop adds delivery to a GLS ParcelShop to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. At the shipping step the customer opens the official GLS ParcelShop map and picks a ParcelShop in their country. The chosen ParcelShop is saved with the order and shown to you and to the customer. The map covers 21 European countries.

It suits stores in Europe that ship with GLS and want to offer pickup at a ParcelShop with simple fixed prices. No GLS account or API key is needed: the map is public and runs in the customer's browser. The extension does not get live GLS rates, create GLS shipments, print labels or track parcels.

Key features

Official GLS map: a Select GLS ParcelShop button under the shipping method opens the GLS ParcelShop map for the delivery country. The name and address of the chosen ParcelShop are shown under the method.

Checked before the order: the customer cannot continue without a ParcelShop, and a ParcelShop in another country than the delivery address is refused.

ParcelShop in the order: the ParcelShop is added to the shipping method name of the order, so it appears in the customer's order history, in the e-mail to the customer and in the admin. A GLS ParcelShop panel on the admin order page shows the name, address, ParcelShop ID and country.

Merchant e-mail: the new order alert to the store includes the ParcelShop with its ID.

Prices by country and weight: a price per country, with optional weight columns from XS (up to 1 kg) to XL (over 5 kg), a default row for other countries and a fallback cost, per order or per item.

Shipping rules: free shipping from a cart subtotal, minimum and maximum cart weight (20 kg by default), minimum cart subtotal, geo zone or a country list, tax class.

Clear settings page: one Save button without page reload, warnings for missing prices and unsupported countries, JSON import and export, and a debug log you can view and clear on the extension page.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), with the default theme, PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. No GLS account or API key is needed for the extension; you need a GLS contract to ship the parcels. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
