VibeFox Envioclick for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox Envioclick adds an Envioclick shipping method for Mexico and Colombia to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. Envioclick is a multi-carrier platform: for the customer's address it returns quotes from several carriers (for example Estafeta, Redpack, Paquetexpress, Coordinadora, Servientrega). The extension shows the customer one rate, the cheapest or the fastest, with fixed prices per country as a fallback.

It suits stores in Mexico or Colombia that have an Envioclick account. The extension calculates shipping rates at checkout. It does not create guides or labels, request pickups, track or cancel shipments, and it offers one rate, not a choice between carriers. Live quotes are domestic only: Mexico to Mexico or Colombia to Colombia.

Key features

Cheapest or fastest carrier: Envioclick quotes from several carriers, and the customer gets one rate. Cash-on-delivery services are never used. Branch pickup rates ("Ocurre") can be allowed.

Carrier at checkout and in the order: optionally the Envioclick carrier and delivery time are added to the method title, for example "Envioclick Shipping (Estafeta Express, 1 day)". The admin order page shows the carrier, the estimated delivery, the Envioclick rate ID, the price source and the calculated price.

Mexico and Colombia: Mexico quotes by 5-digit postcodes. In Colombia the destination municipality (DANE code) is detected from the department (region) and city the customer enters, with about 1,130 municipalities built in. The 33 Colombian departments of OpenCart are recognized as they are.

Safe currency handling: Envioclick quotes in MXN or COP. In another store currency you set a conversion rate. Without it live rates are not used. The price is then shown in the customer's currency.

Fixed prices as a fallback: prices per country with an "All other countries" row and a fallback cost, used when there is no live rate.

Fast checkout: quotes are cached for 1 hour and failed requests for 10 minutes. API errors never reach the customer.

Shipping rules: geo zone or a country list, minimum and maximum cart weight, minimum order amount, free shipping from an amount, per-order or per-item fixed prices, tax class.

Clear settings page: sections for the API, origin, fixed prices, conditions and availability, one Save button without page reload, JSON import and export, and a debug log you can view and clear on the extension page.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. Live rates need an Envioclick account with an API key; for Mexico also the User-Agent value issued by Envioclick support. Fixed prices work without an account. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
