VibeFox Econt for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox Econt adds an Econt Express shipping method to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4 for delivery to an Econt office or Econtomat (parcel locker) in Bulgaria and Romania. At the delivery method step the customer chooses a city and then an office or Econtomat from the current Econt office list. The chosen office is saved with the order.

It suits stores in Bulgaria and Romania that send parcels to Econt offices. You set the delivery prices yourself. The extension does not ask Econt for live prices, does not create waybills or labels, does not order couriers, track parcels or handle cash on delivery, and does not deliver to an address. You create the shipment in e-Econt with the saved office code.

Key features

Office selector at checkout: city, then office or Econtomat, under the Econt method in the delivery method step. The step cannot be completed without a valid office for the delivery country.

Current office list: offices and Econtomats are loaded from the public Econt office list, no Econt contract or API key needed. The list is cached for 24 hours, and the last good list is used if Econt cannot be reached.

Your choice of points: show offices and Econtomats, offices only or Econtomats only. Large cities can be listed first.

Local or English names: office names in the local language when the store language is Bulgarian or Romanian, in English otherwise.

Office in the order: added to the shipping method of the order, so it appears in the admin order, the customer's order history, the order e-mails and the invoice. The admin order page shows the office code and has Change with a note in the order history.

Fixed prices per country: prices for Bulgaria and Romania in your store default currency, per order or per item, shown in the customer's currency.

Shipping rules: free shipping from a subtotal, minimum subtotal, minimum and maximum cart weight, tax class, geo zone.

Clear settings page: sections with one Save button, a Load offices from Econt now check, JSON import and export, and a debug log viewer.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. No Econt contract or API key is needed for the office list. An e-Econt login is optional. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
