Overview
VibeFox DHL Packstation adds delivery to a DHL Packstation, Post Office (Postfiliale) or DHL Parcel Shop as a shipping method for OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. When the customer selects it at the delivery method step, a location picker appears under the method, with DHL locations near their address.
It suits stores that ship with DHL in Germany and want to offer locker and post office pickup. Prices come from your price list per country. The extension does not calculate live DHL rates, create shipments, print labels or track parcels.
Key features
Locations near the customer: DHL locations around the delivery postcode or city come from the DHL Location Finder (Unified) API. The customer can search another postcode or city.
Three location types: Packstation, Post Office (Postfiliale) and DHL Parcel Shop, grouped by type and sorted by distance. You choose which types are offered.
DHL Postnummer: required for a Packstation (6-12 digits), optional for other locations. The delivery step cannot be completed without a location, checked on the server.
Ready for label printing: optionally the order's shipping address becomes the location ("Packstation 105", "Postnummer 12345678", postcode and city of the location).
Location in the order: added to the shipping method of the order, so it appears on the order pages, in the order e-mails and on the invoice. Shown on the admin order page with a Change button.
Simple prices: a fixed price per country, a price for other countries, per order or per item, free shipping from a subtotal, tax class.
Shipping rules: minimum and maximum cart weight (31.5 kg by default), minimum subtotal, geo zone or a country list.
Clear settings page: an API key test, one Save button without page reload, JSON import and export, and a debug log viewer.
Requirements
OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. A free API key from the DHL developer portal with the "Location Finder - Unified" API. No DHL business contract is needed for this API. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
