VibeFox CTT for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox CTT adds CTT (Correios de Portugal) delivery to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4 with two shipping options: delivery to the customer's address and delivery to a CTT point or parcel locker chosen at checkout. Customers get a price from your price table or a live CTT price.

It suits stores that ship within Portugal, including the Azores and Madeira, or abroad with CTT. The extension calculates shipping prices and saves the chosen CTT point in the order. It does not create shipments, print labels, request pickups, provide tracking numbers or show a map of CTT points.

Key features

Price table by destination and size: one row per country, separate rows for the Azores and Madeira (recognised from the Portuguese postcode) and a default row, with a base price and optional prices for parcel sizes XS to XL, per order or per item.

Optional live rates: with CTT API keys, the price is requested from CTT once the customer has entered the full address. The price table is used whenever CTT gives no price.

Delivery to a CTT point: a second shipping option lets the customer search CTT points and parcel lockers by postcode or city. A point from the CTT list must be chosen before the customer can continue, and this is checked on the server.

Point in the order: added to the shipping method of the order, so it appears in the customer's order history, the order e-mails, the invoice and the admin, where you can also change it.

Fast checkout: live prices are cached for 1 hour and errors for 5 minutes, so the checkout never waits for a failing API. API errors never reach the customer.

Shipping rules: geo zone with optional extra countries, minimum and maximum cart weight (30 kg by default), minimum order amount, free shipping from an order amount, tax class.

Clear settings page: sections with one Save button without page reload, JSON import and export, the carriers of your CTT account listed under the Carrier ID field, configuration warnings.

Debug log in the admin: view and clear the log on the extension page. Keys, tokens and customer addresses are never logged.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. Live rates and the CTT point search need a CTT e-commerce account with API keys, an App ID and a Carrier ID. The price table and delivery to the address work without them. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
