VibeFox Correios for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox Correios adds a Correios (Brazilian Post) shipping method to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. Customers in Brazil see a live PAC, SEDEX or other Correios price for their CEP and parcel, calculated by the Correios price API with your contract credentials. Other countries, and Brazil without credentials, get your fixed price per country and cart weight.

It suits Brazilian stores with a Correios contract and posting card. The extension calculates shipping rates at checkout. It does not create labels or pre-postings, track parcels, show delivery times, add extra services or let customers choose a Correios agency, and it offers one Correios service per store.

Key features

Live Correios prices: prices from the Correios Web Services price API by origin and destination CEP, parcel weight and size, with the prices of your contract.

Service of your choice: PAC, SEDEX, SEDEX 12, SEDEX 10 and SEDEX Hoje (retail or contract codes), Correios Mini Envios, or any other service code of your contract. The service is saved with the order and shown on the order page in the admin.

Correct parcel data: weights and dimensions are converted from the weight and length classes of your products, products without weight get a default weight, and the Correios minimum size is applied. Box, envelope or roll format.

Safe currency handling: Correios prices are in BRL. A store with another default currency enters the BRL rate; without it live prices are not used. The price is shown in the customer's currency.

Fast checkout: prices are cached for 1 hour and failed requests for 10 minutes. The API token is renewed automatically. API errors never reach the customer.

Fixed prices: a table per country with prices by cart weight (XS to XL) and a base price, per order or per item. Used outside Brazil and as the fallback.

Shipping rules: geo zone or a list of countries, minimum and maximum cart weight, minimum order amount, free shipping from an order amount, tax class.

Clear settings page: sections with one Save button without page reload, JSON import and export, Homologation (test) mode and a debug log you can view and clear on the extension page, without credentials or customer CEPs.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. Live prices need the Correios Web Services credentials of a contract: the Meu Correios user, an API access code and the posting card number. Fixed prices work without them. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
