Overview
VibeFox Coordinadora adds a Coordinadora Mercantil shipping method for courier delivery in Colombia to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. Customers choose Coordinadora at the delivery method step of checkout and pay a live Coordinadora quote for their city, or your fixed price per country and package size.
It suits Colombian stores that have a commercial agreement with Coordinadora, or want simple fixed prices. The extension calculates shipping rates at checkout. It does not create guides (guías), print labels, book pickups, track parcels, collect cash on delivery or offer Droop pickup points. Live quotes are for destinations in Colombia only.
Key features
Live Coordinadora quotes: prices from the Coordinadora Cotizador with your API key. When a live quote is unavailable, the fixed price is used.
Destination city recognition: the DANE code is taken from the city field written by Colombian departments and cities checkout modules, from an 8-digit postcode, or from a built-in list of department capitals and about 40 largest cities.
Accurate product data: each product is sent with its weight, dimensions, quantity and declared value. Product weight and length classes are converted automatically.
Safe currency handling: Coordinadora quotes in COP. A store in another currency enters how many COP make 1 unit of its default currency; without it live quotes are not used. The price is shown in the customer's currency.
Fast checkout: quotes are cached for 1 hour and failed requests for 10 minutes. The API timeout is 10 seconds. API errors never reach the customer.
Fixed price table: prices per country with optional prices by package size from the cart weight (XS up to 1 kg to XL over 5 kg), per order or per item.
Shipping rules: geo zone, allowed destination countries, minimum and maximum cart weight, minimum order subtotal, free shipping from a subtotal, tax class.
Clear settings page: warnings about incomplete settings, one Save button without page reload, JSON import and export, and a debug log you can view and clear on the page, without the API key or customer addresses.
Requirements
OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. Live quotes need a Coordinadora API key, issued to customers with a commercial agreement, and products with weight and dimensions. Fixed prices work without a key. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
