Overview
VibeFox Aramex adds an Aramex shipping method to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. Customers choose Aramex at the delivery method step of checkout and pay a fixed price per country or a live Aramex rate for their address and cart weight.
It suits stores that ship across the Middle East or send international express parcels with Aramex. The extension calculates shipping rates at checkout. It does not create Aramex shipments, print labels, book pickups or track parcels.
Key features
Three pricing modes: fixed prices per country (no Aramex account needed), live rates from the Aramex Rate Calculator API, or live rates that fall back to fixed prices when Aramex does not answer.
Domestic and international services: parcels within the origin country use your Domestic service (for example ONP Overnight), all others your International service (for example PPX Priority Parcel Express).
Correct weight: product weights and dimensions are converted from their OpenCart weight and length classes to KG or LB. Aramex is charged on the larger of the actual and the volumetric weight, with a minimum of 0.5 kg.
Safe currency handling: Aramex is asked to quote in your store default currency. A quote in another currency is converted with your conversion rate, or rejected if no rate is set. The price is then shown in the customer's currency.
Fast checkout: rates are cached for 1 hour and failed requests for 10 minutes. API errors never reach the customer.
Shipping rules: geo zone, allowed destination countries, minimum and maximum cart weight, minimum order amount, free shipping from an order amount, per-order or per-item fixed prices, tax class.
Clear settings page: sections for the API account, service, origin address, fixed prices and conditions, one Save button without page reload, and JSON import and export of the settings.
Debug log in the admin: view and clear the log on the extension page. Passwords, PIN and customer addresses are never logged.
Requirements
OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. Live rates need an Aramex account with API access. Fixed prices work without one. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
