Overview
VibeFox 99Minutos adds a 99minutos courier shipping method to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4 for Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Peru. Customers choose 99Minutos at the delivery method step of checkout and pay a price from your own matrix by destination country and package size.
It suits stores that already ship with 99minutos and want to offer it at checkout with predictable prices. Optionally, the extension asks the 99minutos API whether the customer's postcode is covered and hides the method when it is not. The extension does not get live rate quotes from 99minutos, create shipments, print labels (guides), track parcels, offer Punto99 pickup points or handle cash on delivery.
Key features
Price matrix: a price per destination country and package size XS (up to 1 kg), S (up to 2 kg), M (up to 3 kg), L (up to 5 kg) and XL (over 5 kg), with a base price and a "* Default" row for all other countries.
Per order or per item: size by the total cart weight, or each unit priced by its own weight.
Correct weight: product weights are converted from their OpenCart weight class to kilograms.
Postcode coverage check: Off, Strict (show only when the API confirms coverage) or Soft (hide only when the postcode is not covered, keep the matrix price when the API is unavailable). Sandbox and production environments.
Fast checkout: coverage results are cached in the OpenCart cache and the request timeout is 10 seconds, so a slow API never breaks the checkout.
Shipping rules: geo zone, country filter, minimum and maximum cart weight, minimum order amount, free shipping from an order amount, tax class.
Clear settings page: sections for general settings, the 99minutos API, rates, restrictions and advanced options, one Save button without page reload, warnings about settings that hide the method, and JSON import and export of the settings.
Debug log in the admin: view and clear the log on the extension page. API keys and customer names and addresses are never logged.
Requirements
OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. The price matrix works without a 99minutos account. The coverage check needs a 99minutos API key. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
