VibeFox Vindi for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox Vindi Gateway connects OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4 to the Vindi API for stores in Brazil that sell in Brazilian Real (BRL). Customers pay by credit card on the Vindi bill page, or by boleto, PIX or BolePix (boleto + PIX). Card data never touches your site. For boleto and PIX the order gets your awaiting status at once, and the customer gets the boleto link and the PIX codes on the success page, in the account and in the order e-mail.

It suits Brazilian stores that already have a Vindi account and want one-off payments without building a card form. For card payments OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after Vindi confirms the payment, so unpaid attempts stay missing orders. The extension takes single payments in one installment only. It has no subscriptions or recurring billing, no saved cards, no installments (parcelamento) and no card form on your site, and it cannot refund boleto payments.

Key features

Four payment methods: credit card, boleto, PIX and BolePix. You choose which ones are offered at checkout.

CPF / CNPJ field: asked at checkout for boleto and PIX and checked by its check digits. It is prefilled from a CPF or CNPJ custom field of the customer when possible.

Paid only when Vindi confirms: the payment is accepted only after the extension has read the bill back from the Vindi API and checked the currency, the order code, the Vindi customer and the exact amount. A mismatch puts the order on hold with a note.

Protected webhook: the webhook URL contains a secret token, and every notification only triggers a fresh check through the Vindi API.

No double payments: one cart is paid once. A new attempt reuses the pending Vindi bill or cancels it first. When you cancel an unpaid order in OpenCart, its Vindi bill is cancelled too.

Live and sandbox: separate API keys. Each payment remembers where its bill was created, so checks and refunds always use that environment.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds of card and PIX payments in the order tab of the extension, up to the amount Vindi actually charged. A full refund sets your refunded status.

OpenCart conditions: geo zone, minimum order total, sort order and your own order statuses. Log without keys or customer data.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. The currency Brazilian Real (BRL) in the store. A Vindi account with an API key (and a Vindi sandbox account for testing). A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
