VibeFox Transbank for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox Transbank Gateway adds Transbank Webpay Plus payments to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4 for stores in Chile. At the last checkout step the customer clicks Confirm Order, is sent to the Webpay payment form, pays by credit, debit or prepaid card and comes back to your store. Card data never touches your site. OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after Transbank confirms the payment, so cancelled or rejected payments stay missing orders.

It suits stores that sell in Chilean pesos (CLP) and have a standard Webpay Plus commerce code. Transbank has no payment webhook: the payment is confirmed server-to-server when the customer returns from Webpay. The extension has no Webpay Plus Mall, Oneclick saved cards, subscriptions, deferred capture or currency conversion, and refunds made in the Transbank portal are not imported.

Key features

Webpay Plus redirect: a Transbank transaction is created for the order total in whole pesos, and the customer pays on the Webpay form.

Paid only when Transbank confirms: on return the extension confirms (commits) the transaction with Transbank. The order gets its status only when Transbank approves it. If the amount, buy order or session do not match what the store sent, the order goes to a review status with a note.

No charge for a changed order: if the order no longer matches the transaction, or the cart was already paid by another order, the transaction is not confirmed, so the customer is not charged.

Confirmed at most once: reloading the return page, the browser back button or two returns at the same moment never confirm a payment twice.

Safe on errors: if the confirmation call fails, the extension asks Transbank for the real transaction status before the order gets a status.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in whole pesos in the VibeFox Transbank Gateway tab of the order, always in the environment where the payment was made.

Test without credentials: the integration environment uses the public test commerce code of Transbank automatically.

Your own order statuses and OpenCart conditions: choose the status for a paid, reviewed and refunded order; geo zone, minimum order total and sort order. Errors are always logged, details on request, without card data or keys.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. The Chilean peso (CLP) currency set up in the store, with 0 decimal places. For live payments, a production Webpay Plus Commerce Code and API Key Secret from Transbank. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
