VibeFox Satispay for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox Satispay Gateway adds Satispay payments to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. At the last checkout step the customer clicks Confirm Order, is sent to the Satispay payment page, scans the QR code on a computer or confirms the payment in the Satispay app on a phone, and comes back to your store. OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after the extension has read the payment from the Satispay API and checked its status, amount and currency, so unpaid attempts stay missing orders.

It suits stores that sell in euros and want to accept Satispay without copying API keys: the extension connects with a one-time activation code from the Satispay Business Dashboard. Satispay charges EUR only, so the payment method is hidden while the customer has another currency selected. The extension has no subscriptions, saved payment methods, pre-authorisations or meal vouchers, and refunds made in the Satispay Dashboard are not recorded in OpenCart.

Key features

One-step connection: paste the activation code and save. The extension creates its own RSA key pair and signs every request to Satispay.

Paid only when Satispay confirms: neither the Satispay callback nor the customer's return is trusted. The payment is always re-read from the Satispay API, and it must be a payment the store created for that order.

Amount and currency check: a payment that does not match the order total puts the order in a review status with a note instead of marking it paid.

No double processing: repeated or simultaneous callbacks and returns never apply a payment twice. A new attempt cancels the previous pending Satispay payments of the cart, so it cannot be paid twice.

Abandoned payments closed: a customer who leaves the Satispay page without paying gets the payment cancelled at Satispay and sees a message at checkout. The cart is kept.

Live and sandbox: separate keys for each environment. Each payment remembers its environment, and callbacks and refunds always use it.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in the VibeFox Satispay Gateway tab of the order, up to the amount Satispay actually charged, with all Satispay payments of the cart, the refund history and the notes.

OpenCart conditions: your own order statuses, geo zone, minimum order total and sort order. Log without keys or customer data, errors always logged.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later with the OpenSSL extension. One download has the packages for both versions. The EUR currency enabled in the store. A Satispay Business account and an activation code from the Satispay Business Dashboard. Your store must be reachable from the internet. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
