VibeFox Razorpay for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox Razorpay Payment adds payments through Razorpay to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. After Confirm Order the customer pays in the Razorpay Checkout popup, which opens on a payment page of your store. The popup offers the methods enabled in your Razorpay account, such as UPI, credit and debit cards, NetBanking and wallets. Card and bank details are entered in the Razorpay popup, not on your site. OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after Razorpay confirms the payment, so unpaid attempts stay missing orders.

It suits stores in India and other stores with a Razorpay account that want UPI and local payment methods. Currencies other than INR need International Payments enabled on your Razorpay account. The extension takes one-time payments only. It has no subscriptions, saved cards, Razorpay Magic Checkout, Payment Links, Route (split payments) or offer widgets.

Key features

Paid only when Razorpay confirms: the extension checks the Razorpay signature and fetches the payment from the Razorpay API. Only a payment of exactly the order amount and currency marks the order as paid. A mismatch puts the order in a review status with a note.

Webhook: signed webhooks confirm payments even when the customer closes the browser right after paying. Webhooks without a valid signature are rejected.

No double payment: if the cart is already paid on Razorpay, the extension finds the payment instead of asking for a second one. Repeated callbacks and webhooks never apply a payment twice.

Authorize & Capture or Authorize Only: charge at once, or reserve the money and capture it later with Capture Razorpay payment in the Razorpay tab of the order.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in the VibeFox Razorpay Payment tab of the order, up to the amount Razorpay actually charged. Refunds made in the Razorpay Dashboard are recorded on the order.

Test and live modes: separate Test and Live keys. Payments, captures and refunds of an order always use the keys of the mode it was paid in.

Correct amounts in every currency: two-decimal, zero-decimal (JPY, KRW and others) and three-decimal currencies (KWD, BHD, OMR) are sent the way Razorpay expects.

Your own order statuses and OpenCart conditions: choose the statuses for a paid, authorized, on-review and refunded order; geo zone, minimum order total and sort order. A log without keys or customer contact data.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. A Razorpay account with a Key ID and Key Secret, and a webhook (recommended). A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
