VibeFox PayU for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox PayU Payment adds PayU (Poland and Europe) to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. At the last checkout step the customer clicks Confirm Order, is sent to the PayU payment page, pays there with BLIK, an online bank transfer, a card or another method enabled for your point of sale, and comes back to your store. Card data never touches your site. OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after PayU confirms the payment, so unpaid attempts stay missing orders.

It suits stores that sell in PLN, EUR, CZK, HUF, RON, BGN, GBP, USD, CHF, DKK, NOK, SEK or UAH and have a PayU merchant account. The customer chooses the payment method on the PayU page. The extension has no card form on your site, no saved cards or one-click payments, no subscriptions and no PayU installment or credit widgets.

Key features

Paid only when PayU confirms: the order status is set after a notification signed with your Second Key, or after a server-side status check when the customer returns. OpenCart then sends its usual order e-mails.

Nothing to set up in PayU: the notification URL is sent with every payment.

Amount and currency check: a payment that does not match the order goes to a review status with a note and is never marked paid automatically.

Payments waiting for confirmation: if automatic receiving is off for your point of sale, the extension can receive such payments automatically, or you receive or cancel them with buttons in the order tab.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in the VibeFox PayU Payment tab of the order, with the refund history. PayU's final refund status arrives by notification. A full refund sets the Refunded status.

No double payment: a new attempt cancels the unfinished PayU payments of the same order and cart, every notification is processed once, and a cart is never paid twice, also on OpenCart 3, which creates a new order each time the confirm step is shown.

Separate sandbox and live keys: sandbox by default. Each payment remembers its environment, so notifications, status checks and refunds always use the right keys after you switch modes.

Your own order statuses: choose the OpenCart status for a paid order, a payment waiting for confirmation, a payment on hold, a payment error and a full refund. Geo zone, minimum order total and an optional log without keys or personal data.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later with the cURL extension. One download has the packages for both versions. A PayU merchant account with the four keys of your point of sale (POS ID, Second key (MD5), OAuth client_id and client_secret), and a PayU sandbox account for testing. The store must be reachable from the internet for PayU notifications. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
