VibeFox PayU India for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox PayU India Payment Gateway adds PayU India payments to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. At the last checkout step the customer clicks Confirm Order and is sent to the PayU hosted checkout, where they pay by credit or debit card, NetBanking, UPI or wallet. Card data never touches your site. OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after PayU sends a correctly signed result, so unpaid attempts stay missing orders.

It suits Indian stores that sell in rupees and have a PayU India merchant account. The extension charges in INR only. It has no multi-currency processing, no saved cards or tokenization, no subscriptions, no on-site card form, no EMI or offer management and no PayU one-click checkout.

Key features

Signed results only: the customer's return and the webhook are accepted only with a valid PayU hash made with the key and salt of the mode the payment was started in, and only for a transaction issued for that order.

Verify Payment: every successful result can be double-checked with the PayU verify_payment API. The paid amount must equal the order total to the paisa, in INR. A payment that does not pass is put on review instead of being marked paid.

Pending UPI and NetBanking payments: the order gets an awaiting status and is completed when PayU confirms the result.

One cart, one payment: the return and the webhook can arrive at the same moment without applying a payment twice. A new attempt for an already paid cart goes straight to the success page, and duplicate payments are noted for refund.

Test and live modes: separate keys and salts. Results and refunds of older payments keep using the credentials of their own mode.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds through the PayU refund API in the VibeFox PayU India Payment Gateway tab of the order, with the refund history and the PayU notes.

Your own order statuses: choose the OpenCart status for a paid order, a pending payment, a payment on review, a payment error and a full refund.

OpenCart conditions: geo zone, minimum order total and sort order. Log without keys, salts or customer data.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. A PayU India merchant account with the Merchant Key and Merchant Salt (v1) for test and/or live mode. The INR currency in your store and a phone number of the customer (on OpenCart 4 the extension asks for it at the confirm step when the order has none). A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
