VibeFox PayMongo for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox PayMongo Payment Gateway adds PayMongo to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4 for payments in Philippine pesos. At the last checkout step the customer clicks Confirm Order, is sent to the PayMongo checkout page and pays by card, GCash, GrabPay, Maya or another method you select, then comes back to your store. Card data never touches your site. The order gets a status only after PayMongo confirms the payment, so unpaid attempts stay missing orders.

It suits Philippine stores that want the PayMongo hosted checkout without a payment form on their own site. The extension takes one-time payments in PHP only, from ₱100.00. It has no card fields on your checkout page, no saved cards, no subscriptions and no separate authorize and capture.

Key features

PayMongo Checkout: cards, GCash, GrabPay, Maya, ShopeePay, QR Ph, BillEase, Atome and direct online banking. You choose which methods the checkout page offers.

Paid only when PayMongo confirms: the payment is always checked through the PayMongo API, after a signed webhook or when the customer returns. OpenCart then sends its usual order e-mails.

Amount and currency check: a payment that does not match the order total, or a test payment on a live store, puts the order in your on-hold status with a note.

One cart, one payment: repeated webhooks and returns never apply a payment twice. A new attempt checks and expires the previous PayMongo checkout, so a cart cannot be paid twice.

Test and live modes: separate secret keys and webhook secrets. Payments keep the mode they were made in, for status checks and refunds.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in the VibeFox PayMongo Payment Gateway tab of the order, with the refund history. A full refund sets your refunded status.

Your own order statuses: choose the OpenCart status for a paid order, a payment still being processed, a payment on hold, a failed payment and a full refund.

OpenCart conditions: geo zone, minimum order total and sort order. Optional log without keys or customer data.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. The Philippine peso (PHP) as a store currency. A PayMongo account with secret API keys and a webhook for each mode. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
