VibeFox Pagar.me for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox Pagar.me Gateway connects OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4 to the Pagar.me (Stone) Core API v5 for stores in Brazil. At the last checkout step the customer clicks Confirm Order, is sent to the Pagar.me payment page and pays by credit card, PIX, boleto or debit card. Payments are in Brazilian Real (BRL) only. OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after Pagar.me confirms the payment or issues a PIX or boleto, so unpaid attempts stay missing orders.

It suits Brazilian stores that want the main local payment methods on one hosted page, with refunds from the OpenCart order page. The extension has no card form inside your checkout, no saved cards, subscriptions or recurring payments, no installment rules, no split payments and no authorize-only card payments.

Key features

Pagar.me payment page: credit card, PIX, boleto and debit card. You choose which methods are offered and how many days a boleto is valid (1 to 30).

Paid only when Pagar.me confirms: the webhook and the customer's return only tell the store which Pagar.me order to check. The order is then read from the Pagar.me API with your secret key.

Amount and currency check: the paid charges are compared with the order total. A difference, an underpaid boleto or a payment after cancellation puts the order in a review status with a note.

PIX and boleto: an issued PIX or boleto puts the order in an awaiting status until Pagar.me confirms the payment. An expired one sets the failed status.

One cart, one payment: when the customer pays again, the open payment page is reused or closed at Pagar.me first. A second payment of the same cart is flagged for a refund.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds of card and PIX payments in the VibeFox Pagar.me Gateway tab of the order, up to the amount Pagar.me actually took. Refunds and chargebacks made at Pagar.me are noted on the order.

Test and live: separate test and live secret keys. Status checks and refunds always use the key of the mode the payment was created in.

Your own order statuses: choose the OpenCart status for a paid order, an awaiting PIX or boleto, a payment on review, a failed payment and a refund.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. The currency Brazilian Real (BRL) in your store. A Pagar.me account with the test and live secret keys and a webhook. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
