VibeFox Omise for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox Omise Payment adds credit and debit card payments through Omise (Opn Payments) to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. The card form is shown at the Confirm Order step of your checkout. Omise.js turns the card into a one-time token in the customer's browser, and your store charges the token on the server. Card data never reaches your server. When the bank asks for 3-D Secure, the customer confirms the payment on the bank page and comes back to your store. OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after Omise confirms the charge.

It suits stores with an Omise account that want an on-site card form with 3-D Secure, manual capture and refunds from the order page. The extension takes cards only. It has no PromptPay, TrueMoney, mobile banking or installments, no saved cards, no subscriptions and no partial capture.

Key features

Card form with Omise.js: name on card, card number, expiry and security code. Only a one-time token is sent to your store. Visa, Mastercard and JCB, whatever your Omise account accepts.

3-D Secure: the customer is sent to the bank page when required. On return the result is read again from the Omise API, never from the URL.

Paid only when Omise confirms: the order status is set only after the charge is confirmed and its amount and currency match the order. A mismatch puts the order in a review status with a note.

Capture immediately or authorize only: with manual capture, Capture payment and Void authorization buttons on the order page.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in the VibeFox Omise Payment tab of the order, with the refund history and the Omise notes. Sync payment status reads the charge from Omise again.

Safe webhook: Omise webhooks are not signed, so every event is checked against the charges of your store and the charge is read again from the Omise API.

No double charges: repeated submissions and retries never charge a cart twice. Test and live keys are kept apart, and captures and refunds always use the mode of the payment.

Your own order statuses and OpenCart conditions: choose the statuses for paid, authorized, review, awaiting, failed, canceled and refunded orders; geo zone, minimum total and sort order. Optional log without keys or card data.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. HTTPS. An order currency supported by Omise: THB, JPY, SGD, MYR, USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, CHF, CNY, DKK or HKD. An Omise account with test and live public and secret keys and a webhook endpoint. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
