VibeFox Niubiz for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox Niubiz Payment adds card payments in Peru through the official Niubiz payment form (Botón de pago web) to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. At the last checkout step the customer clicks Confirm Order and goes to a payment page of your store, where the Niubiz form opens. The customer enters the card in the Niubiz form, and your store authorizes the payment on the server. Card data never touches your site. OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after Niubiz answers, so abandoned or declined payments stay missing orders.

It suits stores in Peru that sell in Peruvian soles (PEN) or US dollars (USD) and have a Niubiz merchant affiliation. The extension takes one-time card payments only. It has no refunds or cancellations from OpenCart, no saved cards, subscriptions or installments (cuotas), and no PagoEfectivo, Yape or QR payments.

Key features

Niubiz payment form: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club, whatever your Niubiz affiliation accepts. The form shows your store name or your own logo.

Paid only when Niubiz approves: the order gets the paid status only when Niubiz approves the authorization and the answer matches the order: purchase number, amount and currency. A mismatch puts the order in your on hold status with a note.

Safe with lost answers: a timeout or an unreadable answer from Niubiz puts the order in the on hold status with the purchase number to check, and the customer is told not to pay again.

Declined cards: the order stays without a status. The customer sees the reason from Niubiz on the payment page and can retry at once with another card. Every attempt gets a new purchase number.

No double processing: repeated or parallel form submissions never authorize twice, and a cart that is already paid is never paid again.

Sandbox and production: separate credentials for each environment. Sandbox mode switches both the API endpoints and the credentials, and a running payment always stays in the environment it was started in.

Niubiz tab on the order page: purchase number, environment, Niubiz answer, transaction ID, authorization code, masked card and the Niubiz notes of the order. You choose the OpenCart statuses for paid and on hold orders.

OpenCart conditions: geo zone, minimum order total and sort order. Optional log without credentials, tokens, card or customer data.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. The PEN or USD currency enabled in the store. Niubiz sandbox and production credentials (merchant ID, API user, API password). No webhook is needed. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
