VibeFox Netopia for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox Netopia Gateway adds card payments through Netopia Payments (formerly mobilPay) to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. At the last checkout step the customer clicks Confirm Order, is sent to the Netopia secure payment page, pays by card and comes back to your store. Netopia confirms the payment with an encrypted notification (IPN). Card data never touches your site. OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after Netopia confirms the payment, so unpaid attempts stay missing orders.

It suits stores in Romania and abroad that sell in RON, EUR, USD or GBP with a Netopia seller account. The extension uses the certificate-based Netopia v1 card protocol. It has no refunds or capture from OpenCart (both are done in the Netopia admin), no saved cards, subscriptions, installments or other payment methods, and no Netopia API v2.

Key features

Netopia secure page: the order is sent encrypted to the Netopia payment page in the order currency: RON, or EUR, USD and GBP when they are enabled on your Netopia account.

Paid only when Netopia confirms: an order gets its status only from an IPN that your private key can decrypt, that carries your account signature and answers a payment request your store made for that order. OpenCart then sends its usual order e-mails.

Amount and currency check: the invoice amount and currency confirmed by Netopia are compared with the order. Mismatches and partial captures put the order in your on-hold status with a note.

No double processing: a repeated IPN is acknowledged without changes. Late notifications never downgrade a paid order, a payment for a cancelled order puts it on hold, and a second payment is reported in a note.

Pre-authorizations and reviews: payments waiting for capture or under review at Netopia wait in the awaiting status until Netopia confirms them.

Refunds recorded automatically: refunds made in the Netopia admin arrive by IPN and are recorded on the order, partial or full, never twice. A full refund sets the refunded status.

Sandbox and live modes: each with its own certificate and private key, which are write-only and checked on save. A sandbox payment confirmed after switching to live is put on hold.

Your own order statuses and a Netopia tab: choose the OpenCart status for every case; the order tab shows the transaction, card and refunds. Geo zone, minimum total, optional log without keys or customer data.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later with the OpenSSL, DOM and SimpleXML extensions. One download has the packages for both versions. A Netopia seller account with the account signature, public certificate and private key of your point of sale. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
