VibeFox MultiSafepay for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox MultiSafepay Gateway adds the MultiSafepay hosted payment page to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4 as one payment method. At the last checkout step the customer clicks Confirm Order, is sent to the MultiSafepay page, pays with any payment method enabled in your MultiSafepay account, such as iDEAL, cards, Bancontact or PayPal, and comes back to your store. Card data never touches your site. OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after MultiSafepay confirms the payment, so unpaid attempts stay missing orders.

It suits stores that want many European payment methods with one MultiSafepay account. The extension takes one-time payments only. It has no separate payment methods per MultiSafepay method, no embedded card fields or express buttons, no subscriptions or saved cards, and no capture or void from OpenCart. No cart data is sent, so pay-later methods that need it are not offered.

Key features

MultiSafepay payment page: a payment for the order total in the order currency, including zero-decimal currencies such as JPY and KRW. The method is hidden for currencies MultiSafepay does not accept.

Paid only when MultiSafepay confirms: every notification and every customer return is checked with the MultiSafepay API using your API key before the order status is set. Nothing to set up in MultiSafepay: the notification address is sent with every payment. OpenCart then sends its usual order e-mails.

Amount and currency check: the amount and currency confirmed by MultiSafepay are compared with the order. A mismatch puts the order in a review status with a note.

No double processing: repeated notifications never apply a payment twice. An open payment page is reused, an outdated one is cancelled, and a duplicate payment is flagged for refund.

Test and live modes: separate API keys. Each payment remembers its environment, so status checks and refunds keep working after you switch, and a test payment never pays an order in live mode.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in the VibeFox MultiSafepay Gateway tab of the order, up to the amount MultiSafepay actually charged. A full refund sets the Refunded status.

Your own order statuses: choose the OpenCart status for a paid order, a payment on hold (uncleared, reserved, chargeback), a payment error and a full refund.

OpenCart conditions: geo zone, minimum order total and sort order. Log without API keys or customer data.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. A MultiSafepay account with the API key of your website (test and/or live). A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
