VibeFox Mollie for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox Mollie Gateway adds Mollie hosted checkout to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4. At the last checkout step the customer clicks Confirm Order, is sent to the Mollie payment page, chooses one of the payment methods enabled in your Mollie account (iDEAL, cards, Bancontact, bank transfer and others) and pays. OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after Mollie confirms the payment, so unpaid attempts stay missing orders.

It suits stores that want all Mollie payment methods behind one payment option, without building payment forms on their own site. The customer chooses the method on the Mollie page, not in your checkout. The extension has no subscriptions or recurring payments, no saved cards, no card fields on your site and no capture of authorized payments from OpenCart.

Key features

Mollie hosted checkout: one payment for the order total in the order currency, in 28 currencies supported by Mollie (JPY and ISK without decimals).

Paid only when Mollie confirms: every webhook and every customer return is checked by reading the payment back from the Mollie API. No webhook setup in the Mollie Dashboard is needed.

Amount and currency check: the paid amount and currency are compared with the order. A mismatch, a test payment in live mode or a payment after the order changed puts the order in a review status with a note.

Bank transfers and authorizations: a bank transfer waits in an awaiting status and becomes paid when Mollie receives the money. Authorized payments wait for capture in the Mollie Dashboard.

One cart, one payment: an open Mollie payment of the same amount is reused instead of creating a second one; a changed amount cancels the old payment at Mollie. A duplicate payment is reported in a note.

Refunds from the order page: full and partial refunds in the VibeFox Mollie Gateway tab of the order, with the refund history and the Mollie notes. A full refund sets the Refunded status. Chargebacks are noted on the order.

Test and live modes: separate API keys. Payments keep using the key of their own mode for status checks and refunds.

OpenCart conditions: your own order statuses, geo zone, minimum order total and sort order. Optional log without keys or customer data.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. A Mollie account with test and live API keys, a store currency supported by Mollie and a store reachable from the internet for webhooks. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
