VibeFox Kushki for OpenCart

Overview

VibeFox Kushki Payment adds card payments with Kushki to OpenCart 3 and OpenCart 4 for stores in Ecuador and Colombia. At the Confirm Order step the customer enters the card in the Kushki hosted card form, which is shown inside your checkout page but served by Kushki. The form returns a one-time token, and your store charges it on the server through the Kushki API. Card numbers never reach your site. OpenCart creates the order before the payment, but the order gets a status only after Kushki approves the charge, so declined or abandoned payments stay missing orders.

It suits stores that charge in USD or COP and want a card form on their own checkout page without handling card data. The extension takes one-step card payments only. It has no partial refunds, saved cards, subscriptions, cash or bank transfer (PSE) payments, debit-card redirect payments or separate authorize and capture.

Key features

Kushki hosted card form: the card form of Kushki on the Confirm Order step of the OpenCart checkout. The payment is sent as soon as the customer presses the pay button inside the form. Installments (diferido) chosen in the form are passed to the charge.

Paid only when Kushki confirms: the order status is set only after Kushki approves the charge with a ticket number. A different amount or currency reported by Kushki puts the order in a review status with a note. OpenCart then sends its usual order e-mails.

Tax as IVA: the amount and currency come from the order. The order tax is reported to Kushki as IVA, untaxed lines separately.

Signed webhooks: optional webhooks confirm a payment whose API response was lost and add notes for voids and refunds made in the Kushki Console. Notifications without a valid signature are rejected.

No double charges: a per-cart lock stops double charges on a double click or a second tab, and a cart that is already paid is never charged again. Repeated webhooks never apply a payment twice.

Test and live modes: separate Merchant IDs and webhook signatures for each mode. Refunds always go to the mode the payment was made in.

Full refunds from the order page: the VibeFox Kushki Payment tab of the order refunds the whole amount Kushki charged and shows the ticket number, the reference, the refund history and the Kushki notes.

Your own order statuses and OpenCart conditions: choose the OpenCart status for a paid order, a payment on review, a failed payment, a cancelled and a refunded order. Geo zone, minimum order total and sort order. Log without Merchant IDs, card tokens or customer e-mails.

Requirements

OpenCart 3.0.x (tested on 3.0.5.0) or OpenCart 4.0.2 and later (tested on 4.1.0.3), PHP 8.0 or later. One download has the packages for both versions. An order currency of USD or COP. A Kushki account with test and live Public and Private Merchant IDs, and HTTPS for live payments. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
